RayGen Projects

RayGen is developing projects around the world and has announced the following projects

Carwarp

The RayGen Power Plant Carwarp is RayGen’s flagship technology demonstration project. It provides 4 MW solar plus 2.8 MW / 50 MWh (17 hours) storage. The project has an offtake agreement with AGL and was supported by an ARENA grant.

Newbridge

RayGen’s operational project in Newbridge, Victoria, represents the world-first deployment of RayGen’s solar technology. The project has been providing electricity to local customers since 2015.

Projects in development

RayGen’s modular, integrated design for hi-tech solar and thermal storage is being applied to multi-GWh projects around the world. This includes a partnership with Photon Energy on a publicly announced Yadnarie solar farm project in South Australia, as well as a partnership with AGL on a publicly announced RayGen technology deployment at the former Liddell coal-fired power station.
